Hold Order Policy
Our company uses anti-fraud safeguards to ensure all orders are legitimately placed by the original cardholder or with permission of the original cardholder prior to processing. Our anti-fraud policies may require you to submit additional information to Kelleyboutiques.com upon completion of your order through our website. Please, review our 'Hold Order Policy' below to see if your order meets the criteria for additional information for verification.
Our 'Hold Order Policy'
We hold all orders that meet one or more of the following criteria until the required additional information for verification is obtained and screened for fraudulent activity:
- Orders originating outside of the USA and Canada. This includes international orders with a USA 'ship to' address.
- Orders where the 'ship to' information differs from the 'bill to' information.
- Orders in excess of $1000.00
- Orders that provide duplicate information of any previously denied transaction.
The required additional information may be submitted using our 'Additional Information for Verification' form (ie: 'AIV Form') located on our website. All fields of this form are required prior to the processing of your order, except the "Optional Comments" field, although completing this field may reduce the hold order time. Any delay in providing additional information for verification may result in further delay of your order.
What we do with the additional information we obtain.
The additional information we obtain is used to help us screen 'high risk' orders for fraudulent activity and will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will call the original card holder and/or the customer placing the order to ensure the order is valid and not fraudulent. If necessary, we will call the card-issuing bank to ensure the credit card used is a valid, unstolen credit card.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. We will screen all orders as promptly as we can in an effort to minimize the hold order time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
